SCHOLARSHIPS

Reicks View Farms Scholarship
Applicants for the Reicks View Farms Scholarship must plan to complete a program in one of these fields:

  • Industrial Mechanics
  • Diesel Mechanics
  • lndustrial Electrician
  • Plumbing

Applicants can attend Hawkeye Community College, Northern lowa Area Community College (NIACC), or Northeast lowa Community College (NICC). A minimum 2.0 grade point average must be maintained during the program for continued scholarship support.

Awarded applicants will maintain full-time employment with Reicks View Farms during the summer months in accordance with scholastic term. And awarded applications will maintain full-time employment with Reicks View Farms for two years following completion of selected program.

Reicks View Farms Families feeding Families Scholarship

Reicks View Farms, in partnership with the Melissa Lea Reicks Foundation, is offering $1000 one time scholarships to graduating seniors of full-time Reicks View Farms employees. This scholarship is intended to reach out and support the families who have helped Reicks View Farms achieve success and maintain high standards of integrity, productivity, and profitability.

The scholarship may also be awarded to part-time high school students who have worked for Reicks View Farms a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to graduation.

FOUNDATIONS

Melissa Lea Reicks Foundation
Melissa Lea Reicks grew up on the family farm and is the eldest daughter of Dale and Laura. Melissa passed away in 2003 at the age of 21. Dale and Laura Reicks established the Melissa Lea Reicks Foundation in her honor. The foundation slogan "Helping While Healing" provides guidance for the family when offering support to various community organizations. Additionally, the Foundation has provided scholarships to many college students. If you would like to know more about the Melissa Lea Reicks Foundation, please contact our office.
