swine production technician
Reicks View Farms is seeking Livestock Technicians to work at our Sow Unit.
As a Livestock Technician you’ll specialize in daily pork production activities within the breeding or farrowing department.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
-Perform breeding/insemination processes
– Monitor, test and care for pregnant/farrowing sows
– Overall care and processing of pregnant/farrowing sows and their piglets
– Ensure pigs have adequate access to feed and water
– Administer routine and seasonal vaccinations and injections
– Maintain a safe and healthy environment for our pigs
– Maintain complete and accurate production records
– Understand and comply with biosecurity protocols

EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL PERSONNEL
Reicks View Farms is seeking an Experienced Electrical Personnel to join our team.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring, motors, controllers, fans and alarm systems.
- Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. - Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
- Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance on all existing equipment.
- Replaces, conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
- Work in a manner that adheres to the company’s safety guidelines.
- Meet company expectations for attendance at work and punctuality.
- Communicate professionally with all co-workers and supervisors.

Job Qualifications

Reicks View Farms is seeking Equipment Operators to join our crops department.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Operate farm equipment during planting and harvest seasons
- Perform tillage tasks in the spring and fall
- Assist with preparing construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and heavy machinery
- Plow snow from driveways and parking lots
The ideal person has extensive knowledge of heavy machinery and is dependable with a strong work ethic.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Reicks View Farms is seeking Maintenance Technician Supervisor to join our maintenance department.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
– Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on hog barn equipment including, but not limited to: motors, actuators, environmental controls, feeders and gates, generators, feedlines, fans, inlets, curtains, and general building maintenance.
– Manage a team of Maintenance Techs, including scheduling around biosecurity measures
– Manage Inventory
– Communicate daily to other team members and outside vendors
– Diagnose and troubleshoot unique maintenance situations and connect with outside resources
for assistance if needed
– Plow snow from driveways and parking lots
This position will also share possession of an after-hours on-call cell phone with other team members.

Bilingual Human Resources Assistant
Reicks View Farms, a local family-oriented, progressive swine production system is seeking a motivated individual to be a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant.
A successful candidate will assist in recruitment of international workers. This person would assist the HR department in recruiting and orientation of international workers. This may include attending appointments, translation of documents, assist with housing, orientation and other duties. This person will need to be detailed oriented, confidential, trustworthy, have the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish, organized, proficient on a computer, have good people skills and a team player personality.

FEED TRUCK OPERATOR
As a Feed Truck Driver, you’ll assist in our mission of “Families Feeding Families” by providing safe, high-quality pork to consumers around the world. Everyday you’ll play a vital role by safely delivering feed to barns throughout our production system.
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for operating a semi-truck and feed trailer to transport and deliver feed to our sow, nursery and finishing barns. Feed is loaded into the trailer at the feed mill using an overhead drop. Once arriving at the designated barn, you will unload feed into the feed bins by controlling a hydraulic boom and auger.
The ideal person is a dependable and conscientious driver with a Class A CDL and clean driving record.
This position is ideal if you want the ability to be home each day and like to get in and out of the cab several times a day. This position averages 50 hours per week with day and night shifts available.
hog driver
Reicks View Farms is seeking Market Hog Drivers to join our transportation team.
As a Market Hog Driver, you’ll assist in our mission of “Families Feeding Families” by providing safe, high-quality pork to consumers around the world. Everyday you’ll play a vital role by safely delivering pigs to our processing partners.
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for operating a semi-truck and trailer to transport market hogs (280 lbs.) from our finishing barns to our processing partners. You’ll also be responsible for making sure there is adequate bedding in the trailer to keep our pigs safe. During your first 60 days you’ll be trained on our biosecurity protocols and how to safely load, unload and transport livestock in all conditions.
The ideal person is a dependable and conscientious driver with a Class A CDL and clean driving record.
This position is ideal if you want the ability to be home each day, are energetic, and enjoy variety, movement, and interacting animals. We have day and night shifts available.
Ingredient Receiving Specialist
Reicks View Farms is seeking an Ingredient Receiving Specialist to join our team.
As the Ingredient Receiving Specialist your primary role will be to provide scale coverage and assist with
miscellaneous clerical work.

– Operate the grain elevator scale which includes weighing and grading inbound and outbound
grain to issue scale tickets
– Receiving ingredient inventory and lot numbers into computer program
– Assisting with quality control and claim submission

A successful candidate will be educated and/or knowledgeable in inspecting vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Reicks View Farms is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to join our swine production team.
As a Finishing Supervisor, you’ll oversee multiple finishing sites and work closely with our contract growers to ensure that our pigs meet production performance standards.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
– Maintain and monitor the overall health and well-being of our pigs in terms of nutrition, medication, and barn environment
– Administer vaccinations and medications in a timely manner
– Collect and maintain accurate production data
– Forecast, select and mark hogs for market
– Schedule and communicate pig flow information to our contract growers
– Assist with loading and unloading pigs
